Offshore banking and offshore savings accounts just got a bit more interesting with the announcement of a rate rise from Bradford & Bingley International in the Isle of Man. Their esavings account “eAcess” now has a headline interest rate of 6.35% for sterling only. This includes bonus interest of 0.4% payable until 31 December 2007. Compare this with the closest rival based on rates, the Alliance and Leicester’s esavings account, which currently offers 6.4% interest.
